Let's play catch up!

Ok, so I know it's been almost two months since my last post. Sorry, but work has been incredibly crazy. We just acquired over 200 new accounts and the office is going mad. But things have slowed down a little, so here we go. Let's see what went on....

Um,
May 25th was the amazing "Sex and the City" party at Blvd 3. That was soooo much fun. I may have had a few more to drink than i should've, but it was still loads of fun. And the girls were looking damn cute too! So we had a girl's night out....

Plus JR!

But there is definitely a lesson to be learned from that evening. 1) Never chug wine. 2) If you do, don't mix it with hard liquor... so, now you know! LOL!

A few weekends after that we had a going away p
arty for Karen and Steve. Karen got into UofA med school! Woo hoo! But that means the two of them are moving to Tuscon.. not soo woo hoo! So we had a little get together for them at this really neato (yes, i said it, and what!) place in Hollywood called Howl at the Moon. It was a grand ol' time!

Then....the next weekend we hung out at good ol' Barney's
in Pasadena because my girl Katelin's girl Liz was in town. So naturally, we welcomed her to Cali to proper way; with drinks and a good time! And we all had a good time. My sister came out to play too.
Oh, that's a funny story. So Jess's phone died that night an
d I was trying to get a hold of her but couldn't get through, obviously. So i go to the bar to get more drinks, and Megan hands me my phone saying Jess just called from this weird number and that she was angry, and she's at the door waiting for me. I said thanks and proceeded to buy my drink because i was thinking Jess could wait. So after i got my drink I went upstairs to look for her, and she was nowhere to be found. So i tried calling the random number back. It's this random guy saying he didn't even know Jess and that all she did was borrow his phone but he's going to a party and was wondering if I wanted to join him because he's a nice guy.. that's what he said! I'm like, "um, no thanks. I need to find my sister". LOL! Oh resourceful Jess. Why not borrow some random guy's phone to call! LOL I heart her still.

The next weekend (I know I'm a party animal) was my little cousin Casey's 7th birthday party at this place in Montclair called Jakes (i think). It's like a Chuck E Cheese sorta place. That was so much fun. All the cousins were there, and TJ had a blast too! There was so much food, balloon, games, and even rides for little ones. TJ was also saw his buddy Joshua too. It was a good time. We spent most of the day riding this little toy firetruck that just bounced up and down. We must have spent at least 30 minutes on that thing. Oh, simple pleasures. And then TJ insisted that I get on this little roller coaster thing with him too. It was was a little train that went around and around and around and around. The guy saw how bad TJ wanted to get on the ride, he didn't even charge us. Well I don't know if he didn't charge us, or if we just didn't pay. Either way, it was free! At the end of the day, poor little guy was pooped; but with prizes in tow. It was so much fun though!

Then, the weekend after that (we're at the end of June now... almost there!) was Lucie and Justin's wedding! Katelin, Matt and I flew out to Philly together on Thursday. I think Kate forgot her brain in Cali that weekend though. It was quite hilarious. We flew to Salt Lake (yes Kate, there is a lot of water here) City first. Then to Philly. We didn't get to our hotel until late that night. Friday was the rehearsal day. We chilled for the beginning of the day. I wasn't feeling so hot, so I took a little nap. Then the rehearsal dinner came and Matt, who was so great that whole weekend for driving me and Kate around BFE of Philly, took us to the rehearsal where we were the first ones there. So, we took pictures (doesn't she look cute with the tree!). Once everyone showed up, the last being the bride and the groom, we did the damn thing. Afterwards, we went over to Justin's house for the rehearsal dinner which had to be moved from outside to inside the barn due to the weather. I still wasn't feeling well, so I didn't really at the really good looking food (except for the salsa. I killed the salsa!). We ended up leaving early to meet Kate's friend Zoe at the bar at the hotel (which closes at closing.. lol!). And Matt's friend was there too, so we all hung out. I took another nap before heading to the bar. I really wasn't feeling well. So after I woke up, I decided to make things better by having a few drinks. Liquor heals all!

The next day was Lucie and Justin's big day. I went to the salon with the girls (thanks again Matt for driving us) to watch them get their hair/nails done and what not. It wasn't a waste of time for me. I got 2 pairs of $5 sunglasses out of it. And, most of all I got to see everyone get prettied up. Then off to the estate (who's name I couldn't say or spell for the life of me). The view from the estate was gorgeous! Lucie was gorgeous. All of us bridesmaids were gorgeous, and the groomsmen were dashing! It was so much fun (except for he beads of sweat that were constantly forming due to the nasty humidity). It was a grand ol' time. After dinner was dancing. It was great to watch yet another one of my friends get married!

But it doesn't end there.... more to follow!

The next week was a short week to celebrate the independence of the good ol' you es of ay! And this year, Jess, TJ and I went over to our other family's house (the Radcliffs) for their annual barbeque. It was fun. There was lots of food and fun things for TJ to do. He went around following the dog that was there saying "doggy doggy". It was a good time. We played, ate, had fun!
TJ sporting the UofA red, white, and blue. Sorry Matt
water-filled fun. TJ wasn't sure if he wanted to get in or not :p... it was a "not" in the end

bff's. we are so festive!
thanks for the fotos Kate!

Then, Saturday was fun filled too.
First, my cousins came over to go swimming. It was so nice because we haven't been together like that in such a long time. Some of my cousins from the Philippines are in town, so we had a great day with the fam.
Later that day my mom, Jess, and I went to Janet and Luc's wedding! Aww it was beautiful too. This time we had to travel all the way to La Canada to Rebecca Isaacson's house. It was absolutely gorgeous. Janet's dress was so breath-taking, and even more so with Janet in it! The couple beamed and radiated with happiness! We had such a wonderful time! It was especially fun because I got to see Becca Robinson and Mrs. Robinson (well as of yesterday, Mrs. Huntington) too! It's been way too long since we last saw them. So what a better way to be reunited than at our best friend's wedding. I heart weddings! So Congrats to Janet and Luc too!

reunited and it feels so good!

And then last weekend (Yes, we're almost there!) was Matt's graduation shindig! He graduated from UTI so he hosted a barbeque. The food was so yummy! and the night was slightly ridiculous! That's all I have to say... slightly ridiculous!
That was Friday.
mmm... car bombs! (question is, is this the first or the second one within a 5min span?)
Saturday was our first corporate picnic. that was very enjoyable. great food, free beer, AND raffle prizes. I was sorta (actually REALLY) hoping to win the tickets to Wicked but I didn't. Instead, I won tickets to Legoland which, I think, is more beneficial in the end. I think TJ would really enjoy it!
And then Sunday, I had another reverse co-ed grass volleyball tournament. I had a new partner, Chris. We'd never played doubles together, so it was tough. And, we were in a really tough pool, so we didn't do so well. But we still had a great time!

So we are now caught up! This coming weekend will be fun too. First is my friend Christian's birthday party. We're doing a pub crawl in Old Town Pasadena and Omar's going away barbeque. He's moving to Dubai. I mean, who moves to Dubai? Usually people move to a different state. Nope, not Omar, he moves to a different effing country :( And he says visit him!? Ha, lemme hit up the Philippines first.

Well now that i'm caught up, maybe I'll post more often. It's been fun! Until next time!
